Since its inception as a web site in 1996 the management of Book Direct Rates has and continues to be committed to protecting the privacy of each person that accesses our site.

Personal information is gathered and collected only when site users voluntarily submit a travel reservation request through our on-line reservation system. Book Direct Rates does not share, sell, rent or trade any of the personal identifying information our users provide to us with any on-line or off-line third party. We also do not contribute to or participate in cooperative databases.

Book Direct Rates does not collect any personal identifying information not directly provided to us by our users, such as your computer's browser type & version, IP address, etc. We also do not use "Cookies" (small data gathering files that Web sites often store on your hard drive) or participate with "Ad Server" programs (anonymous banner ad campaigns that also collect personal information).

Book Direct Rates uses the voluntary personal information gathered by our site for our express stated purposes only: to provide our users with the information from our featured hotels as regards their requested hotel rates and rooms; and to transact and complete the voluntary hotel reservations. We may use the information collected by Book Direct Rates to send you, via e-mail, developing information about our site and our featured hotels. "Remove" instructions and capabilities are included in each e-mail message.

Aggregate Information
Aggregate information is non-personal, general summary and statistics about our users such as site traffic patterns (i.e. unique visits to the site, most frequently viewed site pages, busiest months for Europe hotel reservations, etc.). Aggregate information is used in a collective manner, and no single person can be identified by this collective information. Book Direct Rates may share this anonymous aggregate information with reputable third parties such as our featured hotels.

Security
Book Direct Rates is a GeoTrust™ Secure Certificate site that  guarantees the storing of all personal and transacting (credit card) information on a secure server and in an encryption format so that no one other than Book Direct Rates can have access to this information. Book Direct Rates Travel By Fingertip will have no liability for disclosure of personal information due to errors in transmission or unauthorized acts of third parties.

Book Direct Rates reserves the right to change or update this Privacy Policy at any time, with reasonable notice to users of our Book Direct Rates site. Any changes or updates will be effective immediately upon posting to our site.
